By accessing or using Storebird ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Storebird provides an AI-powered chatbot service designed specifically for WooCommerce stores. The Service includes product search functionality, order tracking, knowledge base integration, and customer support automation.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Be at least 18 years old
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees.

4.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

4.3 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.

4.4 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

5. Usage Limits

Each plan includes specific usage limits:

• Conversation limits per month
• Knowledge base page limits
• Number of connected stores

If you exceed your limits, the Service will continue to function but we may contact you to upgrade your plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Your Content and Data

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your data, including product information, knowledge base content, and customer conversations.

7.2 License

You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for providing and improving the Service.

7.3 Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide to the Service, including product data and knowledge base content.

8. AI-Generated Responses

Storebird uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are based on the data you provide
• You should review and update your knowledge base regularly
• Human handoff is available for complex queries
• We are not liable for decisions made based solely on AI responses

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for scheduled maintenance when possible.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Storebird and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storebird shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Is harmful to other users or third parties
• Is fraudulent or illegal

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your billing period.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
